Alan G. Tolman (April 26, 1930 – December 27, 2019) was an American ufologist from Portland, Maine.
Tolman retired from Allied Signal as an Acoustical Engineer after a 39-year career.
He was well known in the UFO and Astronomy communities and appeared in more than one UFO documentary.
In 1979 Tolman filed for a patent to protect one of his several inventions (Broad Band Acoustic Attenuator).
Tolman passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 and was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Bliss Martin [1]
